Student Activities

With the purpose of developing inner abilities and overall personality of students, this college organizes various co-curricular activities such as Debates, Music Competitions, Acting, Traditional Day, Essay Writing Competitions, Quiz, G.K. Tests, Book Reviews, Navratri Celebrations, Tours and Picnics, and more.

Various camps and Shibirs are organized regularly, and student leaders are encouraged to participate in these sessions. Students also perform excellently in Youth Festivals.

Special programs like Hindi Day, Knowledge Week, Knowledge Term, and English Speaking activities are conducted to enhance knowledge and communication skills.

Expert lectures in various subjects are arranged during the academic term to provide practical knowledge and real-world exposure to students.

Our Story

Founded in 1975, SMT. Veniben Premchand Kapadia Mahila Arts College has grown from a small liberal arts college to a comprehensive research college recognized nationally for academic excellence and innovation.

Library

Library

Library is a breathing heart of the college. Books, Magazines, periodicals, News Papers etc. are arranged property for the convenience of the students. Activities like consumer education, discussion group, and books exhibition, binding the magazines and taking care of them etc. are done regularly here. About 2500 books and 45 magazines are brought regularly in the library. Separate reading arrangements are available for the students as well as the professors in the library.

Our expert lecturers are using latest technology in teaching to make class room teaching live and interesting. They use different electronic aids like L.C.D. Projector, C.D. Players, OHP, Television, D.T.H., Tape Recorder, Computer, etc. Internet is used by the professors and students for collecting latest information and speedy communication. We are constantly trying to make Teaching-Learning process more powerful.

Scholarship

According to the government rules, the S.C., S.T., S.E.B.C. students are regularly getting the scholarships during academic year. Apart from that, the college is also managing "Poor Student Relief Fund". Under this activity, the needy students are given aid from this fund for fulfilling various academic needs.
